Screen Sharing issues for Mac users
Posted by Ryan Young on 16 May 2012 11:26 AM

Some of InstantPresenter's Mac OSX users have unfortunately been experiencing some issues when attempting to Screen Share. Our Screen Sharing feature requires the rather common Java software to function properly, a software that the majority of internet users will already have installed on their system as it is used by a very wide variety of internet applications. However, Mac OSX has been behaving very oddly in how it handles Java as of recent updates.

If you find yourself having difficulty in getting the screen sharing to run on your Mac OSX system, please check out the links below for possible fixes.

Screen Sharing Improvements!
Posted by Ryan Young on 01 March 2012 02:18 PM

The way InstantPresenter handles screen sharing has improved by leaps and bounds! Now all users, including those on Macintosh systems, will be able to benefit from our Application Sharing and Multi-Monitor screen sharing features. This has been done by having our screen sharing feature utilize Java, instead of the Windows only screen sharing plugin we were using before.

For more information on making sure your system is ready to Screen Share, and how to get it up and running in your meetings, please check out the links below!

Copying Attendee Registrations From One Meeting To Another Now Available!
Posted by Ryan Young on 20 October 2011 12:58 PM

InstantPresenter has released an exciting new feature that will allow you copy the registrations from one meeting over to the registration form of another. This will make it so you can have your attendees only register once, but be registered for multiple meetings, with a minimum of effort on your end. You can even decide whether they are going to get a new password automatically sent to them (If you are requiring passwords) and if they get a new confirmation or not.

For a detailed walkthrough on how to do this, check out this Article!
